By Brandon K. Pierce The Sports Ledger Schools across Northeast Alabama have started the 2021 basketball season and many program's have already had some thrilling and game winning moments. The Sports Ledger watched as Etowah's Jaleigh DeVine connected on a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Blue Devils to a 40-38 victory over Boaz. We watched Faith Christian's Junior High Boys make a game winning buzzer beater against Coosa Christian, and we have seen multiple impressive offensive and defensive plays from various other teams. However, it is not always the big plays that are the most impressive. During Cornerstone Christian's 2021 home opener, the program's junior high girls team had a chance for every player to compete and all 16 players on the team scored in the Eagles' 44-7 victory over Marshall Christian. Lilly Dupree led Cornerstone with six points. Mary Preston and Lila Pike scored four points each. Lacy Wells, Alli Wells, Evie Reed, and Kendall Coots added three points each. Sarah Graham, Sadie Camp, Maggie Taylor, Makenna Miller, Jaylee Brown, Lila Laney, Sadie Pitts, Brielle Miller, and Bella Miller all scored two points in the win. Sophie Hendrix led Marshall Christian with six points. Teammate Emily Campbell scored one point. All 16 players score in win
