MATT HUSTON
Senior Vice President & Board of Directors, Wood & Huston Bank
Matt Huston was born and raised in Marshall, Missouri. His mother was a first generation Valley graduate and his father, a longtime member of the Missouri Valley Board of Trustees. Matt’s memories of the college began at a young age, attending football games and bowling in the Ferguson Center as a child. He was truly raised Valley.

Matt and his wife, Charla, continue to be involved in many areas of the Missouri Valley campus. They currently reside in Marshall and have two sons.
Why do you support MVC? I support Missouri Valley College because of what it brings to Marshall, be it through the fine arts, athletics, or the diversity that the campus provides. Also, being from a banking family, we recognize the positive economic impact that Missouri Valley has on Marshall. I believe in helping the college help its students. Some of those students stay in Marshall after graduation, and bring something new to the town. My hope is that we will continue to grow the connections between the college and the community by celebrating each other’s successes and blending together as neighbors.
