Background and Contribution Jeff obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance from UBC. During his university days, he worked for the Port of Vancouver at the Cruise Ship Terminal and Ports Canada Police. There, he was encouraged by a colleague to attend BCIT and obtained a Diploma in Shipping and Marine Operations. It was through that program that he unintentionally followed in his father ’ s footsteps and was assigned a work project at Fraser Surrey Docks. He started out as a dispatcher and spent the next 30 years working through all departments and areas of the organization. During his last 10 years, Jeff was the President and CEO and led the organization through the height of the global financial crisis, through restructuring, diversification, rebuilding and in April 2020, completed a sale to DP World. Shortly thereafter he joined Coastal Pacific Xpress as President and CEO after their recent divestment from Versacold. Over the past four years he took them through a restructuring and rebuilding which ultimately led to a sale to Canada Cartage in December 2024. He has remained on through a transition period and is currently leading business development and customer engagement. Jeff is also the Board Chair of Fibreco, a privately owned bulk materials handling terminal located in North Vancouver on Burrard Inlet. Other Activities and Community Involvement Jeff is currently Chair of the Fraser River Industrial Association advocating for sustainable and responsible economic activity in the Lower Fraser River. Previously, Jeff was Chair of the Board of the BC Maritime Employers Association He had been a director of the Reach Child and Youth Development Foundation where they completed a successful capital campaign to build a new $5 million outreach and services facility in downtown Ladner. The new building allowed them to support more children with special needs and their familes. He was previously on the board of the Fraser River Discovery Center (FRDC) that provides a place to learn, explore, share, understand and celebrate the diversity of the living, working Fraser River. The Musqueam Indian Band (MIB) and the Fraser River Discovery Centre Society (FRDCS) are developing the FRDC as xʷtatəl̕ləm , a Place of Learning about the Indigenous heritage and teachings of the Fraser River. Jeff has volunteered at community events and was actively involved as a youth coach for many years in local soccer, baseball and hockey associations. Jeff is a Quantum Shift Fellow for the Ivey Business School and a member of McKay CEO Forums. Jeff recently obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Following a 25-year career in the UK armed forces, Robert relocated to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario in 1987. As a decorated veteran, he still maintains close ties with many of his former UK veteran colleagues. Robert studied various applied real estate, construction and urban land subjects at Niagara College and McMaster University in Ontario. Then, in 1992, having moved to British Columbia, he completed his studies at the University of British Columbia and became an appraiser licensed by the Canadian Real Estate Association. In 1994 he was selected to become the project director of a leading multi- family development group based in Metro Vancouver. Under his direction, this group went on to attain prestigious international awards including the highest totals worldwide for both multi-family transactions completed and dollar volume sold. In 2005 Robert joined The WestStone Group as General Manager. He achieved success after success with WestStone ’ s developments and in 2007 he was appointed Vice President. Over the past 20 years, WestStone has completed many award-winning developments in Calgary, Sun Peaks Resort in the Okanagan, the Fraser Valley, Metro Vancouver and the Phoenix Metro Region in Arizona. Robert was one of the pioneering developers in the build-out of Surrey ’ s ever-evolving city centre.
