EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & ACHIEVEMENTS Essential criteria: • Educated to degree level (A/C) • Appropriate professional qual- ification in a Built Environment / Project Management or con- struction and surveying relat- ed discipline (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) (A/C) KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Essential criteria: • Substantial experience in Pro- gramme & Project Management related office environment (RIBA Workplan)

Desirable criteria: •

Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and issues relating to construction and es- tates development. (A/I) Experience of working in the higher education sector. (A/I) Experience of developing the strategic aims and goals of a government institution as well as change management at a stra- tegic level within a public sector environment. (A/I) Ability to manage external con- sultants and project teams. (A/I) Good IT skills with ability to use Project Programming, MS Office and appropriate project budget software. (A/I) Commitment to and under- standing of equal opportunities issues within a diverse and mul- ticultural environment (I) Excellent verbal and commu- nications skills including report writing, presentations, and inter- personal skills for working at all levels inside and outside of the organisation. (A/I)

SKILLS & ABILITIES •

Substantial experience on high value project and cost manage- ment of new building and devel- opment projects and fast track refurbishment (A/I) Experience of dealing with prop- erty related transactions (i.e., Lease / acquisition, etc) (A/I) Experience of effectively dealing with customers in a complex or- ganisation with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels (A/I)
