Crushing Another Landfill
This landfill in Whitby, Ontario is meant for disposing of automotive shredder residue, where old cars go to be shredded. The metal is taken out of them to be recycled, and whatever components are leftover like plastics, fibers, glass goes into this landfill. Titan supplied and installed both geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) and geomembrane liner. On top of that, two more layers of separation geotextile, our TE-8, and TE-W315 were also installed. Although the start of construction was a little bit delayed pushing it into slightly colder conditions, our small crew was able to complete the project on schedule and under budget.
Cold Weather Won't Stop Concrete Canvas®!
A drainage ditch in the County of Grande Prairie, Alberta had been problematic for a number of years. A lining solution was required Concrete Canvas® was the superior solution due to its ease and speed of installation, especially when contending with impending winter weather! We installed 500m2 of Concrete Canvas® in November with freezing temperatures, tarps were placed over the hydrated material during the day for proper curing. The installation was completed quickly and successfully.
