Is Your Shoulder Pain Due To A Rotator Cuff Tear?

PATIENT SPOTLIGHTS

“The positive professional atmosphere is excellent.” Success Story: Susan Martz

“My treatment at Orthopedic and Balance Therapy has been great! Through Arlan’s advertisement in the Times newspaper I realized the pain in my bicep was caused by a torn rotator cuff. I was unable to raise my arm above my head or reach behind my back. Getting dressed was difficult and at times painful. Even after 4 weeks my progress seemed slow, then from week 5 to week 8 I had steady improvement. I was even able to hang lights and ornaments on the highest branch of the Christmas Tree. Also, the positive professional atmosphere at this workplace is excellent. I appreciate that employees are never on cell phones; they are committed to their clients’ therapy.” “I am ready for a regular exercise program again!” Success Story: Mary Ellen Spaite “After an injury to my rotator cuff resulting in pain using my right arm, I began Physical Therapy. 4 weeks in I am able to use my arm and shoulder with much less pain. My pain is gone now on most days! I am ready to begin a regular exercise program now here to continue to strengthen my shoulder muscles and work to prevent further injuries, so I don’t have to stop my favorite hobby, working with my horses!”

“The team here is fabulous!” Success Story: Nancy Walleske

“When I first came to therapy I could hardly move my arms, I was unable to put on a coat or get dishes out of the cabinets. I had trouble putting arms up to even drive a car. Since I came here I am able to do all of those things plus so much more. The team here is fabulous and has shown me how to continue to improve my capabilities at home.”
