You will also have the chance to win a $50 gift card. 5 to 6 p.m. BILLD ALUMNI RECEPTION Vue North, 21st Floor | By Invitation Only NEWCOMERS RECEPTION Executive Ballroom AB, 2nd Floor If you’re attending the Midwestern Legislative Conference Annual Meeting for the first time, come enjoy refreshments and meet MLC Executive Committee members as well as other newcomers. 6 to 8 p.m. OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION AT THE MILWAUKEE PUBLIC MUSEUM The Milwaukee Public Museum will host MLC attendees and their guests. Browse this natural and human history museum’s 150,000 square feet of exhibit space, featuring exhibits from Africa to the Arctic and offering more than 4.5 million specimens for you to explore. Take in the Costa Rican Rainforest, see the world’s largest-known dinosaur skull or step back into time by taking a walk on the Streets of Old Milwaukee. The evening will include a variety of hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The museum is located a short 10-minute walk from the hotel; volunteers will be in the Hyatt lobby to guide you beginning at 5:45 p.m. Please speak with conference staff at the MLC Registration/Information Desk at your earliest convenience if you have special transportation needs or other requirements.
