Sport, arts, culture and performance Creating energy and campus vibrancy by offering a wide range of community activities that ensure a healthy balance to the focus on study. Facilitating long-lasting friendships and a safe and inclusive environment to actively engage and explore diverse interests competitively or recreationally. Academic success and leadership development Nurturing academic skills and knowledge, engaging in challenging experiences and developing leadership skills through a range of opportunities within the college, university and industry. Developing the pathways toward future employment and career aspirations through immersive learning experiences and scholarly activities. Sustainability and Social Responsibility Making meaningful ‘real world’ contributions to Tasmania and the world through a diverse range of creative challenges and initiatives, with a focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; poverty, equality, education, food security, peace, justice and climate. Connection to Place and Culture Exploring understanding of place and deepening appreciation for the richness of Tasmanian Aboriginal history, culture and knowledges, and more broadly, the strength of diversity.
