Metsä Board Appoints Pajka U.S. Sustainability Specialist
Finland based Metsä Board, a leading European producer of fresh fiber paperboards, has appointed Nathan Pajka as Sustainability Specialist for the Americas, a new position. Based in Metsä’s Norwalk, Connecticut, office, Pajka will work with sales and marketing to help customers with sustainability information, data and education relating to Metsä Board’s lightweight paperboards and how they can help customers reduce their carbon footprint. He will work in tandem with Metsä Board’s Product Safety and Sustain- ability team in Finland to offer a range of Sustainability ser- vices and serve as Metsä Board’s sustainability expert in the region. Prior to joining Metsӓ, Pajka worked for one of the largest healthcare companies in Massachusetts, as well as serving as a sustainability ambassador for one of the largest utilities in New England. He holds an MBA in Sus- tainability and Social Change and an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University, Worcester, MA.
