In August, a customer approached Volk with a need for repackaging a specific medical supply, to be sent throughout the US. This job has led to additional customers and has caused Volk to expand this division into another building less than a mile away. Overall, Volk Packaging is well-positioned for continu- ous growth, thanks to its investment in new equipment, technology, automation and people. Saica 2025 Digital Event Outlines Strategic Priorities Zaragoza, Spain based Saica Group has published “Saica 2025: Building the Future Together” digital event, which outlines the company’s strategic priorities for the future. The plan will serve as a reference for the company’s de- cision making over the next five years. During the event, several national and international employees came to- gether to outline the main lines of action that Saica Group will follow in the path towards a progressively sustainable future, such as the improvement of efficiencies of the four business areas and the development in Europe and the United States, among others. At the event, Ramón Alejandro, President of Saica Group, pointed out that the Strategic Plan ‘Saica 2025 emanates from a challenging situation on an economic, technolog- ic, generational, climatic and globalized level. “The 2025 Strategy of the com- pany will serve to reinforce our value proposition for all of the stakeholders: customers, employees, shareholders and the communities we operate in, among others,” he said. The company says it will maintain vertical integration, improving efficiency and entering into new markets, with an average yearly investment of €230m in state-of-the-art technologies. ‘Saica 2025’ also confirms and consolidates the company’s commitment to the environment with a strategy directly addressing the challenges raised by cli- mate change.
