The Noble Eightfold Path was propounded by the Buddha to cultivate wisdom, ethical conduct and discipline in order to eradicate defilements from one’s mind: • Right Understanding

• Right Thought • Right Speech • Right Action • Right Livelihood • Right Effort • Right Mindfulness • Right Concentration

If a student follows the above eight principles, he/she can not only evolve into an extremely efficient learner but also into an exceptional human-being. The right mindfulness and concentration gives you the required one-pointed focus in whatever you do. The right understanding helps you to perceive everything around you in the right way and the right speech and action will translate your thoughts into good deeds. And all this will eventually help you to live your life in a much fulfilling way! Vaishnav N (Class XII, DPSM).
