Long ago, a young prince named Siddhartha saw people suffering outside his palace. He felt sad and wanted to help them and went in search of happiness. After meditating for many days, he realized that the real light comes from within. He realized that kindness, peace and understanding makes the world bright. He then became Buddha - the shining star who spread the light of wisdom and love everywhere.
