🌟 The Umbrella on Platform 7 It was a rainy Tuesday morning at the busy Secunderabad railway station. Commuters rushed past puddles, shielding themselves with newspapers and bags. Among them was Ananya, a college student, clutching her books and trying to stay dry under a flimsy shawl. As she waited on Platform 7, a sudden gust of wind flipped her notes into a wet mess. She sighed, defeated, when a stranger approached —an elderly man with a kind smile and a large black umbrella. Without a word, he held the umbrella over her and gently helped gather her papers. “You look like you’ve got an important day ahead,” he said. She nodded, explaining she had a final exam and had missed her bus. The man walked her to the train, still shielding her from the rain. Before parting, he handed her a small packet—inside was a dry notebook and a pen. “I always carry extras,” he winked. “Good luck.” Ananya never saw him again, but she aced her exam and kept that notebook as a reminder: sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can change the course of someone’s day—or life!
