A Haunted Victorian Halloween

Oct. 31: A Haunted Victorian Halloween at Songbird Parlour Step into the Songbird Parlour, 14301 Arnold Drive in Glen Ellen, on Oct. 31 for a hauntingly elegant Halloween celebration from 7 to 11 p.m. Set in a historic 1839 manor, this adults- only event features Gothic décor, a resident DJ, passed hors d'oeuvres and a costume contest. Dress in your finest vintage attire—fortune tellers, vampires, specters, and sorceresses welcome. Masks and weapons are prohibited. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased songbirdparlour.com.

Oct. 19: Hamilton Family Wines Second Annual Grape Stomp Celebrate Sonoma Valley’s 200th harvest at Hamilton Family Wines’ Second Annual Grape Stomp, 8860 Sonoma Highway in Kenwood, on Oct. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets include two glasses of wine and charcuterie, plus the chance to compete in or cheer on the grape stomping fun. Prizes will be awarded. Tickets are $85 per person and can be purchased on hamilton.wine.

Oct. 18: Museum of Sonoma County Block Party and Community Resource Fair Celebrate the 29th annual Día de los Muertos exhibition with the Museum of Sonoma County, 425 Seventh St. in Santa Rosa, on Oct. 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Enjoy a vibrant day of art, performances, local food and a lowrider cruise down Seventh Street. The event is free and open to the public with support from community partners like the Sonoma County Library, NAACP, and City of Santa Rosa. For more information visit museumsc.org.

Oct. 30: Return to Woodsboro for ‘Scream’ On Oct. 30, the Sonoma Community Center—famously Woodsboro High in Scream—hosts a screening of the 1996 horror classic in Andrews Hall, 276 E. Napa St. in Sonoma, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy drinks, popcorn and Scream- inspired art and merchandise. Costumes are welcome, but masks and weapons are strictly prohibited. VIP experiences are available for purchase and vary in price. VIP guests can look forward to a private reception, unlimited bar access (21-plus), a nighttime tour of the Spring Hill Estate Mansion (Stu’s house), an overnight stay, movie marathon and breakfast at the haunted Washoe House.
