Crevier Express, un des commanditaires de l’Auto Expo, a fait son tirage annuel d’une NissanMicra à la fin de l’évènement. Ironiquement, l’heureux gagnant, Eldon Power de Hawkesbury, était sur place alors qu’il participait à l’expo avec son camion Chevrolet 1956. « Nous sommes très satisfaits du dérou- lement de la journée, a dit Jean-Pierre Mayer, président du Club d’autos. Rien de tout cela n’aurait été possible sans l’apport des quelques 35 bénévoles qui ont mis l’expo sur pied et je tiens à les remercier.
Le Club d’autos de Hawkesbury a organisé sa 20 e Auto Expo sur la rue Main, le dimanche 5 août. Plus de 361 collectionneurs se sont enregistrés. La pluie est restée au loin et tout au long de la journée les amateurs de voitures anciennes et récentes sont venus les admirer. Plus de 33 trophées ont été décernés. Le trophée pour véhicule favori est allé à Fernand Dumulong de Joliette, Québec, pour son camion White 1940.
