Department of Humanities and Communication
The Department of Humanities and Communication prepares you to communicate proficiently, think critically, learn collaboratively and exhibit high levels of information and cultural literacy. The department also offers minors in Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Creativity; Aviation, Technology and Society; Science Literacy; and Space Policy, History and Culture. Certificates in Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Creativity as well as in Crisis, Risk and Resilience Communication are also available.

Bachelor of Science in Communication
The evolution of information delivery is creating new opportunities across every industry, and the need for skilled communicators who can analyze complex information and craft effective messages is more relevant than ever. This online degree helps you understand how to interpret technological and scientific topics across all media types. This program offers two specializations: Aviation, Science & Technology Communication s Focuses on the nexus of communication in aviation, science and technology contexts. Crisis, Risk & Resilience Communication s Explores the intersections between communication and safe and secure societies and industries, while providing a foundation in communication for risk management, crisis response and fostering resilience in multidisciplinary settings.
