I am excited to welcome you to the College of Arts & Sciences at Embry-Riddle Worldwide — an international leader in online education in the aviation and aerospace industries, as well as in multiple interdisciplinary fields, including Emergency Services and Management, Homeland Security, Human Security and Resilience, Human Factors, Safety Management and Communication. We develop and deliver flagship academic degrees as well as research programs that integrate research, teaching and outreach into an interdisciplinary center of excellence. Concurrently, we initiate interdisciplinary programs and courses that invigorate the general education program, grounded in a valuable set of competencies for the aviation and aerospace enterprise and professional safety and security disciplines. My focus is to champion a collaborative effort to steer our college and the student experience to the next level of excellence, and I strive towards a shared vision from which all campus constituencies can achieve.
