HOWTO BID
This is an online only auction facilitated through DVAuction.com. Please see the instructions below for information on how the auction will run and how to bid. Video of all lots will be available on DVAuction.com prior to sale day.
HOW THEY WORK All lots will close at the same time. Bidding will be extended for 5 minutes on all lots if a bid is placed on any lot within 5 minutes before closing time. Bidding will officially close when there are no bids placed on any lot for a period of 5 minutes. BIDDING PROCEDURES 1) Make sure you have an active DVAuction account. Log in to www.DVAuction.com any day of the week and make sure your login still works.You will not be allowed to watch or bid if you do not have a DVAuction login. 2) Once you are logged into the home page for DVAuction, you will see your name listed in the upper left corner of the page.This is the same area that you put in your username and password. Below your name you will see the Apply for Bidding link. Click on this link and it will take you to a page that shows all the upcoming sales. If the sale you are interested in bidding on is listed with APPROVED in front of it, you are ready to bid. If not, click in the box nex to the sale that you wish to bid at, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the Apply for Bidding bar.You will now see a green bar at the top saying ‘Your request for approval(s) have been received.’ Make sure to continue to check back on the status of the sale you wish to bid at. If it says APPROVED in front of the sale, you are ready to bid. If it does not, call DVAuction at (402) 316-5460 for approval. 3) To bid, login to your DVAuction account. On the home page, scroll through today’s events and find the sale you wish to bid on. Click on the view button next to the sale listing and it will take you to the lot list.To bid, click on a lot and enter a bid amount. **If you click on a lot and see a bar that says ‘You are not approved to bid at this event,’ click on the Apply for Bidding button.
