PREGNANT RECIPS
In early 2024 BobYackley told us they were selling their commercial cowherd as they were preparing to list the ranch.We talked throughout the spring and in late April we decided to have a look.We thought they would make outstanding recipients and they have. We have also added our Black/Red Carriers and most of our 1B Red Angus to our recipient group. These are all highly productive cows and will fit in any herd. On theYackley Recips, the first number indicates the year of birth of the cow. Any of the registered recipients correspond with the letter year for registered Red Angus. Any of the recips that didn’t take during the first two rounds were implanted for a late August due date and are offered here.

Lot 1 One pregnant recipient cow due 8/31/2026 with a bull calf. This mating will prove to be a breed leader. This 2021 born recip is carrying a bull calf by Leverage 3865L, who was one of the high sellers at LSF’s February sale. The dam of this calf is the proven matron Bieber Primrose 139H - the dam of Bieber Paycheck K102 who stands at Alta Genetics. The projected EPD’s of this calf put him near the top of the breed. We are looking forward to Leverage’s progeny and, out of this matron, they should be some of the best.

These three pregnancies will likely be some of the top females in any herd they sell too. Adelle 475C is one of those cows who just keeps producing the good ones. She is now at Pieper Red Angus and still producing for their ET program. High Density’s females have followed in his sire’s footsteps and have been standout in any herd. These three heifer calf pregnancies are going to lead most any program.
