Last year we were part of the Maggie Beer foundation trainer mentor program. I am happy to say that we have now completed the program and have our certificate proudly on display outside of the kitchen. It was a wonderful journey that challenged us in exactly the right ways and gave us education and confidence to reach higher for our residents and provide the best that we can, daily. This year we have introduced ‘Big Buffet breakfast’ to be held Friday week 5 of our menu. It has been great to see the turn out so far, we look forward to seeing you all sharing a breakfast with fellow residents. Come along and enjoy a hearty breakfast of toast, baked beans, bacon, eggs or a continental breakfast with cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruits. We have been supporting the lifestyle team by making something to eat from the destination country chosen for the lifestyle program that’s currently running. So far, we have had croissants from France, hot dogs and donuts from America and a decedent Irish Cream cake from Ireland. We look forward to the next destination – Japan!
