Summer Highlights January 2026 We embarked on a monthly excursion to a new global destination! This year we’re traveling the world through food, featuring local cuisine for our morning tea. Our resident Kevin expressed a desire to visit Paris and indulge in French delicacies, so that’s exactly what we did. Our Australia Day celebration brought us together with lamingtons for morning tea, beer shooting, and an entertaining dunny toss game. We had so much enjoyment, and Terry was the fortunate winner of the lucky door prize. Our first buffet breakfast was a significant success! We’ve been participating in the Maggie Beer Foundation Trainer Mentor Program for the past year. We’ve learnt so much from this programme, from identifying areas to improve and building layers of flavour to finding ways to increase protein in our meals. We had a fantastic game day with laughter echoing across Woodford. Betty, our talented diamond dot crafter, is now venturing into door hangings for resident rooms and wind chimes. They’ve been well- received, and we have more initiatives in the pipeline.
