Community Happenings Summer
Celebrating Together Our Christmas party was the highlight of December! We came together for a huge celebration with many photos commemorating the occasion. Prizes were awarded, and a PowerPoint presentation highlighted the key events of 2025. Our Lifestyle team’s hard work made this day truly special, and we’d like to thank management, staff, and catering for their support, making it an excellent day overall. Kiwi Elvis provided our entertainment, adding extra fun to the festivities. Christmas Festivities The Christmas season bustled with activities we thoroughly enjoyed. We crafted throughout the lead-up, preparing items for our craft sale that showcased our talents whilst raising funds. Delays Creek Primary School visited us with their Christmas concert, and we captured Santa photos that became keepsakes for our families. Exploring the lollie shop brought nostalgia alongside treats. Our door decorating competition brought out everyone’s creativity. Betty won most creative door whilst Mopsie, Lillian, and Margaret received community awards. Seeing our decorated doors transformed our corridors into festive galleries. The wonderful Woodford Singers performed Christmas carols, and everyone joined in singing. We also enjoyed a beautiful Christmas lunch concert in the Memory Support Unit with Edward the musician. His performance created perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Christmas Eve brought fun-filled bingo with festive music and plenty of cheer. Families joined in, making it truly multigenerational.
