Community Happenings Summer

High Tea & Creative Pursuits Our memory support residents enjoyed a delightful high tea experience with music by Edward and specialty coffees from the café. These tailored experiences ensure everyone enjoys quality activities regardless of cognitive ability. We had a fantastic game day with laughter echoing across Woodford. Betty, our talented diamond dot crafter, ventured into new projects: door hangings for resident rooms and wind chimes. They’ve been well- received, and we have more initiatives planned. Seeing our creativity produce items that beautify our home brings satisfaction. We also enjoyed a painting class, giving us time for creative expression We celebrated the beginning of Chinese New Year festivities with outstanding dancers. Betty won the Chinese silk scarf! The vibrant performance brought colour and cultural richness to our community. Out and About Our bus trip to the Glasshouse Mountains Café gave us a pleasant day enjoying scenery and good company. Getting out into our beautiful region remains important to us, connecting us to the wider world whilst appreciating where we live. and artistic exploration. Cultural Celebrations
