Thibaut Pouplard has been appointed as the Executive Chef effective 23 March 2023.

Chef Thibaut Pouplard is an award-winning progressive chef with over 20 years of experience. Born and raised in a small village in the Loire Valley in France, his interest in cooking began when he was young, watching his grandmother, Andree, at the cooking range. This sparked a lifelong passion for fine cuisine, which has grown with increasing enthusiasm each day, along with his illustrious travels across the world. He first began his career at “ L'Hôtel du Golf” in Deauville, and as his experience grew, he moved on to the Carlton InterContinental in Cannes, and later the 5-star InterContinental Hotels in Geneva, Switzerland; Phoenicia, Beirut; and Doha, Qatar. Chef Pouplard is returning to Shangri-La Group having previously worked for us as Executive Chef with Shangri-La Boracay, Philippines, and Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Malaysia.
