even he tempted to compromise his prin ciples. He believes in the; right and in the truth, and his beliefs are to him a matter of conscience and convic tion, and he is one man who always has the courage of his convictions. We predict for him a cam paign of conquest.” These are strong words, but Dr. Martin is a strong man, not only as a preacher but as an author. He has written several books which have had wide circulation,— notably, “Hell and' the High Schools,” “God’s Plan with Men.” “Heaven, Hell and Other Sermons.” ' The hook “God’s Plan with Men” has been used of God in the salvation of multitudes of men. One man who had served ten years in San Quentin and was so bitter and cynical that a preacher could not get to talk to him, was converted one night in his prison cell through reading the book. Ministers say it is the best thing that has been written in years on the plan of salvation, in the way of logic, clearness, fine English and Scriptural sanity. His book, “Hell and the High Schools” is one of the sever est arraignments of the deadly doctrine of evolution we have ever read, presenting an array of facts and testi monies that are irrefutable, and showing the awful effects of this teaching upon the students in our High Schools. As Dr. Martin was himself at one time a professor of science, he speaks as one having authority. He not only shows the danger, but points out the only remedy, faith in the inerrant and infallible Word of God. The same logical and irrefutable and gripping arguments, the same wit and sarcasm, which are found in his books, characterize his lectures, with the added effectiveness of his fearless and forceful personality, and above all, his absolute dependence upon the Holy Spirit and his convic tion that he has a commission from God to reprove, rebuke and warn Christian people of the dangers confronting our country, through this insidious and subtle snare of Satan. Listen to what Rev. W. S. Bradshaw, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Logan, W. Va., has to say about Dr. Martin: “I have known Brother Martin several years; have had him in meetings in my church, and have read his new book, ‘Hell and the High Schools.’ I wish I could com mend him personally and directly to every church and pastor that believes the Word of God and stands true to the old faith. No man is truer to the faith or abler in its defense than Brother Martin. The Lord richly blesses his evangelistic work. His knowledge of the Bible is little short of mar velous. His logic cannot be refuted. Evolutionists will be
