10 ERIC’S REST Stalwart of the club Eric Nott was literally a ‘jack of all trades’ for over 25 years. From repairs and decorating to part-time greenkeeping, Eric could always be seen in and around the club. On one eventful day he managed to knock himself out when jumping from a mower. The rumour that the first members to pass him simply thought he was taking a nap is a little harsh!
