Oil $500 - By Flavious J. Smith, Jr.

In 2015, China was constructing 368 coal-fired power plants... and planned to add 803 more. Meanwhile, India was building 297... and expected to add 149 more. Overall, more than 2,400 coal-fired power plants were under construction or being planned around the world. While policy changes have led China and India to reduce the number of planned coal-fired plants over the past two years, industry insiders don’t believe this is a bad sign.
