Recognising that transfer to hospital can sometimes be in the best interest of the person. 11) Repeat the National End of Life Survey This will allow for the identification of important trends in older people’s end-of- life experiences and the impact of quality improvement initiatives that have been implemented in response to the findings of the original survey.
