The Conseil des arts Prescott-Russell Arts Council (CAPRAC) and the Municipality of Casselman are inviting residents to experience local art in everyday spaces through new artworks for the Municipal Mini-Galleries. The initiative, part of CAPRAC’s ongoing commitment to making art accessible throughout the region, features a rotating selection of works drawn from the organiza- tion’s Fall–Winter Gallery Collection. Visitors can view a curated selection of pieces at the CAPRAC office, located at 750 Principale Street, Room A-8, in Casselman. NOTICE OF STATUTORY PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING DEVELOPMENT CHARGES Take notice that Russell Township Council is holding a public meeting on November 10 , 2025, at 6:00 p.m.to discuss proposed Development Charge (DC) rates as well as the policies that will be applied throughout the Township. The public meeting is an opportunity for the public to review and provide comments on the Development Charges Background Study and the proposed Development Charges By-law(s), as required under The Development Charges Act, 1997. AVIS DE RÉUNION PUBLIQUE STATUTAIRE SUR LES REDEVANCES D’AMÉNAGEMENT Prenez avis que le Conseil de la Municipalité de Russell tiendra une réunion publique le 10 novembre 2025 à 18 h afin de discuter des taux proposés de redevances d’aménagement ainsi que des politiques qui seront appliquées dans l’ensemble de la Municipalité. Le Conseil envisagera l’approbation de nouveaux règlements sur les redevances d’aménagement à une date ultérieure, après cette réunion publique. Les redevances d’aménagement sont des frais imposés sur les nouveaux aménagements afin de financer les coûts liés à la croissance pour la Municipalité, conformément à la Loi de 1997 sur les redevances d’aménagement. L’étude de fond sur les redevances d’aménagement porte sur la prestation des services admissibles suivants : services de bibliothèque, parcs et loisirs, services de garde, protection contre les incendies, services policiers, application des règlements municipaux, études liées à l’aménagement, services liés à la voirie (travaux publics et routes et services connexes), services d’eau et services d’égout. Cette réunion publique offre au public l’occasion d’examiner et de formuler des commentaires sur l’étude de fond sur les redevances d’aménagement et sur le projet de règlement sur les redevances d’aménagement, tel que l’exige la Loi de 1997 sur les redevances d’aménagement.
