Offered in aluminum or cast iron, blocks use conventional, 4-bolt main caps and oil pans, while eliminating the problems associated with the separated crankcase bays. Redesign provides significantly stronger main webs, while allowing the cylinder barrels to be extended .375" into the crankcase for added piston support.
