Barney Barn Owl Box Barn Owls don’t just live in barns, they can take up residence in many di erent types of rural buildings and tree hollows. These days to presevere the species we encourage Nestboxes and these can be placed in a barn, up a tree or on a pole. Either way remember a Barn Owl Box is really heavy and will need to be secured by a team of experts, or carefully by a person used to working overhead.

Barn Owl Nest Boxes are often made from ply, a particle board that has very little structure to last amoung the elements, will split and fall apart in no time at all. Our Owl Nest Boxes are made from Larch a British Red Wood, which will provide the box with at least 20 years lifespan. Don’t forget Larch is the most popular wood used on the outside of modern buildings. We add a medium oak stain ours to add additional protection. Our stain is EN certi ed ‘Safe for Nature’.
