The “O” Word In today’s technology driven economy, the word ͞ŽďƐŽůĞƚĞ͟ ŝƐ ďĞĐŽŵŝŶŐŵŽƌĞ ƌĞůĞǀĂŶƚ͘ dŚĞ ĚĞĮŶŝƟŽŶ itself, that which is no longer produced or used, ŵĂŬĞƐ ƉƵƌĐŚĂƐŝŶŐ ĚĞĐŝƐŝŽŶƐ ĚĂƵŶƟŶŐ ĂƐ ǁĞ ĂƐŬ ourselves, how long will this product last? With technology changing and advancing so quickly, it impacts all areas of our lives. How many of us ĂƌĞƐƟůůƵƐŝŶŐƚŚĞƐĂŵĞĐĞůůƉŚŽŶĞƐŽƌǁĂƚĐŚŝŶŐƚŚĞ ƐĂŵĞ ƚĞůĞǀŝƐŝŽŶƐ Žƌ ƐƵƌĮŶŐ ƚŚĞ ŶĞƚ ǁŝƚŚ ƚŚĞ ƐĂŵĞ computers as we were 10 or 15 years ago? The answer is virtually none. How many of us have scrapped a working electronic device for features only found on a newer model? The answer is too many. Of course, this rapidly changing technology also af- fects our business lives. &ŽƌLJŽƵĂƐŽƵƌĐƵƐƚŽŵĞƌƐ͕ƚŚĞZK/ĐŚĂŶŐĞƐĚƌĂƐƟĐĂůůLJ when dealing with the advancing technologies. How long will my product last? How long will it be supported? How long will parts be available? Purchasing decisions become more complex as we try to balance durability with up-to-date technology. For us as supplier partners, the challenge is also just ĂƐŐƌĞĂƚ͘,ŽǁĚŽǁĞĂŶƟĐŝƉĂƚĞƚŚĞŵĂƌŬĞƚŶĞĞĚƐĨŽƌ ƚŚĞĨƵƚƵƌĞ͍,ŽǁĚŽǁĞĂůůŽĐĂƚĞŽƵƌZΘƌĞƐŽƵƌĐĞƐ ƚŽ ŵĂdžŝŵŝnjĞ ĐŽŶƐƵŵĞƌ ďĞŶĞĮƚƐ͍ ,Žǁ ĚŽ ǁĞ ƐƚĂLJ ĐƵƌƌĞŶƚďƵƚƐƟůůŬĞĞƉŽƵƌĞLJĞƐŽŶƚŚĞĨƵƚƵƌĞ͍

The AccuNET controller is designed to accommodate features and upgrades that haven’t even been requested or developed yet. And there is some more good news. A decade ago, many electronic components were custom made for ƐƉĞĐŝĮĐĐƵƐƚŽŵĞƌĂƉƉůŝĐĂƟŽŶƐĂŶĚĞƋƵŝƉŵĞŶƚ͕ĂĐĐĞů - ĞƌĂƟŶŐ ƚŚĞ ũŽƵƌŶĞLJ ƚŽ ŽďƐŽůĞƐĐĞŶĐĞ͘ dŽĚĂLJ͕ǁĞ ĂƌĞ ƵƐŝŶŐŵŽƌĞƐƚĂŶĚĂƌĚĐŽŵƉŽŶĞŶƚƐ͕ďƵƚƐƟůůŵĂŝŶƚĂŝŶ - ing proprietary and unique equipment. This balance is extremely important to us and our customers. ƚ ^dE ĂŶĚ ^d ĞůƚƌŽŵĂƚ /ŶƚĞƌŶĂƟŽŶĂů͕ ǁĞ ŚĞĂƌ our customers.
