The Despatch Summer 2024

Goodbye to the Y8 Despatchers!

As the Summer 2024 Dulwich Despatch rolls off the photocopier, rogue kitkat wrappers are retrieved from the RCL shelves and shirtsleeves are finally rolled up, it is time to reflect on two milestones reached this year: not only do we now have an online presence, thanks to the dogged determination of William Beresford, but we have the biggest edition of The Despatch ever—a whopping 60 pages! This is in no small part down to the extraordinary content creation of Thomas Hibbert (Y7), but Mark Gill also deserves a special mention for producing an impressive number of articles. Kit Fisher was another fine writer, who has also provided vital proofreading assistance. Thank you Y8 Despatchers—it ’ s been an entertaining and informative experience for us. To the Y7 Despatchers carrying on next year, and the new intake from Y6 —welcome! We look forward to working with you.
