The purpose of our internal events was to raise the awareness of National Payroll Week amongst our colleagues so that they understand how important payroll is and how we support small businesses with their payroll. ● Kickoff – 62 participants from the UK office attended. We talked about why payroll is important and ended with a fun 80’s icon quiz. (See image.) ● Payroll Game of Life – 50 colleagues took part, with each stepping into the shoes of a small business to see what it’s like running payroll for twelve months. This was incredibly useful as our colleagues gained customer empathy for what it’s like running payroll. ● Progeny wealth pension talk – Alex Shaw from Progeny wealth joined us to talk to us about how pensions have performed during COVID-19 and the benefits of saving into your pension.
The purpose of our external events was to assist our small business and accounting customers streamline their payroll operations and understand the importance of their pensions. The events included: How to pick the right payroll; a pension panel; and streamlining your payroll with automatic pension submissions.
