FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT Simulation and skills labs offer learning opportunities that utilize technology-based interactive manikins focusing on adult health. Students are exposed to evidence-based practice in real-life healthcare situations that encourage student participation and the development of critical thinking in a safe and controlled environment. Lab fee includes laptop, lab and clinical supplies, online library, NCLEX preparation, background and drug screening, scrubs, and resources.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS Education Applicants must possess a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent
Essays: 0-5 Points Awarded Three essays must be submitted to the admissions department as part of the application materials. Essay questions are reviewed and points are awarded on a scale of 0-5. Essay Questions 1. Why are you pursuing a career as a nurse? 2. What makes you capable of being a nurse? 3. Explain in detail how you will commit to the demands and responsibilities of a nursing program.
Essay Instructions • Place name at the top of each essay • Essays should be typed, double-spaced, in 12 pt. Times New Roman font • Title each essay with the question • Begin each essay on a separate page • Essays must be a minimum of one page - no more than 2 pages
Letter of Recommendation Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation. The college strongly recommends that the letter is submitted on professional letterhead and includes contact information. Acceptable letters of recommen- dation may include current or previous supervisors, hiring managers, or academic instructors. Transcripts Unofficial Transcripts must be submitted with the application to be considered eligible for transfer. Please see the section at the end of this packet titled: “Transfer Credits” for more information.
