8. Military service records Complete military service history including branch, dates of service, discharge status, and any disciplinary actions or security clearances

9. Educational background verification Verification of all claimed educational credentials, degrees, certifications, and professional training programs

10. Professional licenses and certifications Review of all professional licenses, certifications, and registrations held in any jurisdiction, including status and any disciplinary actions

11. Tax compliance and liens Review of federal and state tax compliance, outstanding tax obligations, liens, judgments, and bankruptcies

12. Regulatory actions or sanctions Investigation of any regulatory actions, sanctions, or enforcement proceedings by gaming or other regulatory agencies

13. Business associations and financial interests

Detailed review of current and former business relationships, partnerships, and financial interests that could present conflicts

14. Any other relevant information Investigation of any additional information relevant to the applicant's suitability, integrity, and qualifications for the gaming position

Reporting to the Commission: 25 CFR 556.6 BEFORE issuing a license - a tribe shall: 1. Create & maintain an investigative report on each background investigation 2. Submit a Notice of Results of the applicant's background investigation to the Commission NIGC must be notified of the results of the background investigation before a license is issued and within 60 days of an individual beginning employment. 25 CFR 556.6(b)(2)
