It’s time to celebrate the great news, more than 75% of oceangoing ships have bounced back into service with nearly all ships due to be back in operation by August 2022. Best of all, we have seen record-breaking cruise sales since the beginning of the New Year, as the appetite for cruising continues to grow.

New cruise ships for 2022 are set to be very exciting indeed and there are certainly plenty of them! There are some seriously impressive ships on the horizon including 17 new ocean cruise ships sailing this year and 12 river vessels. Our staff have had the privilege to visit and experience many of these ships in recent months and have simply been blown away by the innovations each ship presents. I had the pleasure of experiencing the largest ship in the world, Wonder of the Seas, which I was lucky enough to embark on along with 100 Hays Travel staff last month. All I can say is WOW! The

ship took my breath away, it was a statement of how magical cruises can be and it most definitely further fuelled my passion.
