ABOUT NATALIA KOVICAK As the Vice President of Conferences and Events at The Right Place, Natalia creates event structure and promotion plans to meet objectives for awareness and revenue generation. In addition, she determines event needs in the region and offers events to enhance interest and networking capabilities for West Michigan companies. Natalia is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. PAST EXPERIENCE Prior to her role at The Right Place, Natalia was an Employee Trainer and Consultant at Not So Basic Training & Consulting. She has also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Engine Power Components and a Human Resources Senior Generalist at Coca-Cola of Buenos Aires. EDUCATION • Bachelor of Human Resources and Public Relations | University of Palermo FAVORITE PART ABOUT LIVING IN WEST MICHIGAN Natalia’s favorite part about living inWest Michigan is being near the lakeshore as well as the city. Additionally, she loves going to the beach and taking bike rides with her family.
ABOUT JILLIAN ELLIOTT Jillian is the Events and Investor Relations Coordinator. In her role, she assists The Right Place, MMTC-West, and Hello West Michigan with event planning and management. In addition, she supports The Right Place by handling vendor and investor communications, registration, and record keeping. PAST EXPERIENCE Jillian put her event planning skills into play as the Events Intern at The Right Place for two years prior to her current position. EDUCATION • Bachelor of Art in Hospitality and Tourism Management | Grand Valley State University FAVORITE PART ABOUT LIVING IN WEST MICHIGAN Jillian’s favorite part about living in West Michigan is witnessing the growth and development of the region first-hand. She loves that Grand Rapids provides a big city feel while still feeling personable and that there are always events going on.
ABOUT BRAD COMMENT Brad Comment serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations at The Right Place. In his role, he acts as a point of contact for all investors in The Right Place and is responsible for fundraising and leading public policy initiatives. PAST EXPERIENCE In his previous work, Brad has held the position of Vice President of Investor Relations at Heart of West Michigan United Way as well as Vice President of Governmental Relations at Kindsvatter, Dalling & Associates.
