Michigan Rodders coordinated a Model Car Display and Jim Spaulding with fellow host-club members organized the Swap Meet. Located in New Buffalo, Michigan, US 12 Speed & Custom, a one-stop shop for everything that goes fast was honored as the Spotlight Builder. When it came time for the non-denominational Church Service on Sunday morning, Team Racers For Christ (RFC: serving people in the world of motorsports in the name of Jesus Christ through providing fellowship, pastoral care, evangelism and service.) and Mike Oginsky spread the good word. After the Awards Presentation many attending rodders headed straight for Burlington, Vermont, and the 30th Northeast Street Rod Nationals the next weekend. As rodders rumbled out the gate of the Kalamazoo Fairgrounds most were unaware the North and Northeast events would switch their order on the 2025 NSRA Event Schedule. The 31st Northeast Street Rod Nationals will be held September 12-13, 2025, and the following week- end the 45th Street Rod Nationals North will follow September 19-20, 2025. Whether doing back-to-back events or not, make your mini-vaca- tion plans to include cruising into early autumn to either or both of these great events. DECEMBER 2024 33
