Dan & Candy Ketchbaw from Vicksburg, MI, built their ’39 Ford coupe to look like an old stock car using a 1958 292, a 4-inch channel, PPG Red over White paint, and an aluminum interior.
We loved Jimmy Posey’s Big Oak Garage ’36 Ford convertible out of Hokes Bluff, AL, and fig- ured we’d get all the details when the rod won an award at the North or Northeast (he was there, too). We can tell you the bright red ragtop runs Michelin tires wrapped around Schott wheels, rolls on a tubular IFS, and has a tan over brown leather interior.
Dan & Debbie Ament came over from Perham, MN, in their true blue ’58 Chevy Impala that is technically 1982 GM Bright Blue Metallic, has tri-power 348 power, BFG-wrapped US Mags, and a stock-style interior with 1962 SS buckets.
