➢ Anna Bacon took A levels in Biology, Chemistry and English, then took a Biomedical Science degree and is now studying graduate entry Medicine at Birmingham University. ➢ Aurelia Finch took A levels in English, Spanish and RS, went on to study Spanish and Arabic at Durham University and is now doing an MPhil in Arabic Studies. ➢ Lauren Ward took A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics and is now in her final year of a Natural Sciences Degree at Birmingham University.

➢ Emma Lu took A levels in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Economics, studied Economics at LSE and is now a Structured Credit Trader at PNB Paribas. ➢ Maddie Waller took A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics, studied Computer Science at King’s College London (KCL) and is now doing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence with KCL and Imperial.

Who and what is Arup? Arup is a global sustainable development consultancy founded by
engineer and philosopher, Sr Ove Arup who believed that work is only valuable when it has
something higher to strive for – the company continues to embody that idea – work is truly
profitable when it shapes a better world. The firm consists of Designers, Engineers, and a lot more in
between.
When could I work for Arup? You could join Arup after GCSEs, after A levels (or equivalent) or
after completing a degree. They also offer internships (a bit like work experience), for a few weeks in
the summer or for up to a year.
What Apprenticeships do they offer? They offer a wider range of apprenticeships across
their UK offices in a wide range of professional disciplines: civil engineering, building services,
structural engineering, rail design, business and admin, project management, transport planning,
accountancy, digital consulting, quantity surveying, environmental consulting and more.

accounting as well as tax, financial advisory, and consulting. It is one of the largest accountancy firms
in the UK. Founded in Europe, Mazars also has offices in Sutton and London.
When could I work for Mazars? You could join Mazars after A levels (or equivalent) or after
completing a degree. They also offer placements to university students.
What Apprenticeships do they offer? They offer a range of Apprenticeships related to
Accountancy and Finance and offer the opportunity to gain a professional qualification whilst earning
a competitive salary and gaining invaluable experience.
