more about their
roles at Arup and what a Fire Safety Apprenticeship involves!
Who and what is Arup? Arup is a global sustainable development consultancy founded by
engineer and philosopher, Sr Ove Arup who believed that work is only valuable when it has
something higher to strive for – the company continues to embody that idea – work is truly
profitable when it shapes a better world. The firm consists of Designers, Engineers, and a lot more in
between.
When could I work for Arup? You could join Arup after GCSEs, after A levels (or equivalent) or
after completing a degree. They also offer internships (a bit like work experience), for a few weeks in
the summer or for up to a year.
What Apprenticeships do they offer? They offer a wider range of apprenticeships across
their UK offices in a wide range of professional disciplines: civil engineering, building services,
structural engineering, rail design, business and admin, project management, transport planning,
accountancy, digital consulting, quantity surveying, environmental consulting and more.
Do they offer work experience? Yes!
