When torque tools slip out of calibration, miscalibration impacts product quality. Having an accurate way to regularly test calibration onsite is a great way to reduce risk and ensure safety. With Mountz torque analyzers and sensors, you can test tools before they go into service daily. Testing prevents employees from working with miscalibrated tools and enhances quality management. Using your own torque testing equipment is also more efficient since you can evaluate your tools without sending them to a laboratory. MOUNTZ TORQUE ONSITE CALIBRATION SERVICES We’re excited to announce a new service from Mountz that makes your life a little easier – ISO17025 onsite calibration for hand tools and electric drivers, now available at your location.
DETAILS Service Area If you're within 1 hour of driving from our Foley, AL or San Jose, CA locations, we’ll bring our expert calibration right to your doorstep! Service Fees: Setup Fee (Part Number 990098): Charged on every onsite order to cover the setup of the calibration area. Travel Time (Part Number 990099): Charged each way (to and from) for every day of onsite service. Calibration Options: When scheduling your service, please specify the calibration method you prefer based on the tool type and range. Note: Sensors and analyzers cannot be calibrated onsite at this time.
Tool Types and Estimated Process Times: Pre-set screwdrivers and wrenches (up to 250 lbf-ft): 8 minutes per tool (7.5 tools per hour, 35-40 tools per day) Adjustable screwdrivers and wrenches (up to 250 lbf-ft): 17.5 minutes per tool (3.5 tools per hour, 18 tools per day) Electric tools (1-point calibration): 20 minutes per tool (3 tools per hour, 16 tools per day) Electric tools (3-point calibration): 30 minutes per tool (2 tools per hour, 11 tools per day)
