Sylvain Charlebois, UCPR director for eco- nomic development and tourism, reported that an awareness workshop on all the benefits of cycling and a regional cycling network will take place April 9 at the com- munity hall in Plantagenet. The PRRTC is inviting mayors from all UCPR member mu- nicipalities and their urban planning staff, local cyclists, and other interested groups and individuals to attend the workshop to provide both suggestions and feedback. During his own advance report on the upcoming workshop to the UCPR econom- ic development and tourism advisory com- mittee, Charlebois presented a users map of cycling trails along the Ottawa River that was developed as a tourism promotional tool for the municipalities of Argenteuil and Papineau in Québec.
