T he Wade Shows Carnival is known for its wide variety of rides, games, and attractions, making it a highlight at fairs and events across the United States. Carnival wrist- bands are available for purchase ahead of the Fair, on the State Fair website, or during the Fair at the Wade Show Ticket Office.
FRIENDLY WHEEL You know it and you love it—it’s fun for every fair fan! A large-scale Ferris wheel, this ride is perfect for classic carnival enthusiasts, kids and relaxed riders.
TORNADO Get ready to be in double-twisting trouble on the Tornado! While the center twirls and tilts the arms above, each thrill-seeker picks how fast their individual car spins- it’s the perfect pair to promise a hair-raising ride!
HOURS: Monday – Friday: 1 p.m. – 11 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. September 2 (Labor Day): 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. *Closing times may vary due to weather conditions, attendance and other circumstances. PRICES: Carnival wristbands in advance through Aug. 22: $30 (good any one day) Carnival wristbands beginning Aug. 25: Weekday (Monday – Thursday, excluding Labor Day): $37 Weekend (Friday – Sunday, Labor Day): $42 Single ride tickets are 5 for $6, 25 for $25 or 55 for $5; rides require 3-5 tickets. Wristbands available now: WIPEOUT Kowabunga! This ride is ideal for riders who are not scared to spin. The Wipeout’s surfing saucer raises, twirls and twists to give you all of the best thrill offerings packed into one attraction!
FAIR PASS FUNTAGG APP The Fair Pass Funtagg App will take purchasing wristbands and ride credits to a whole new level of convenience. Carnival fans will be able to use the Funtagg system at kiosks on the midway. They can still purchase credits using cash, but they will be loaded to a card, wristband or the app rather than using paper tickets.
