Friday, Aug. 23 | 9 a.m. P Big Red Barn LLAMA & ALPACA YOUTH SHOWMANSHIP This event highlights youth exhibitors in the llama and alpaca show. They will be challenged to exhibit their llama or alpaca to the best of their ability. Saturday, Aug. 24 | 8 a.m. P Big Red Barn LLAMA DRIVING CLASS Llamas being used to pull a cart? That’s right, come see the fun! Friday, Aug. 23 | 5 p.m. P Big Red Barn POULTRY OPEN CLASS POULTRY, WATERFOWL, PIGEON, & EGG SHOWS Come see the large display of chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, guineas, and pigeons. GOAT DAIRY GOAT SENIOR DOE SHOW
SWINE OPEN CLASS BREEDING GILT SHOW
Eight different breeds of senior doe dairy goats (goats who have given birth) will be competing. Senior does are those that have kidded. Walk through the barn and be sure to check out the milking stanchions used. Wednesday, Aug. 28 | 7 a.m. P Aurora Coop Pavilion OPEN CLASS BOER GOAT SHOW Nebraska State Fair hosts two Boer goat shows. Boer goats are a breed that originated in South Africa. They are known for their meat production. The Silver Show begins at 9 a.m. and the Bronze Show begins at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 | 9 a.m.; 3 p.m. P Sheep Barn YOUTH DAIRY GOAT & JUNIOR DOE SHOW Eight different breeds of junior doe dairy goats (goats who have not given birth) will be competing. The show includes showmanship at the beginning. Tuesday, Aug. 27 | 8 a.m. P Aurora Coop Pavilion LLAMA & ALPACA LLAMA & ALPACA ADULT SHOWMANSHIP Adults competing against each other for the title of best showman! Sunday, Aug. 25 | 9 a.m. P Big Red Barn LLAMA & ALPACA COSTUME CONTEST Costumes galore will be on display in the Llama & Alpaca Costume Contest! Both animal and exhibitor will be decked out. Saturday, Aug. 24 | 5 p.m. P Big Red Barn LLAMA & ALPACA HALTER SHOW The Llama Halter Show will start off the day followed by the Alpaca Show. This is a great opportunity to see both being shown off to their finest. Sunday, Aug. 25 | 9:30 a.m. P Big Red Barn LLAMA & ALPACA OBSTACLE COURSE Llama and alpacas going through an obstacle course is both comical and entertaining. Saturday, Aug. 24 | 2 p.m. P Big Red Barn
Youth & adult swine exhibitors compete against each other in a breeding gilt show. Many exhibitors are too young for 4-H (aka ample cuteness factor). Breed winners compete against each other for an overall
breeding gilt title. Friday, Aug. 30 | 5 p.m. P Aurora Coop Pavilion
OPEN CLASS JACKPOT SWINE SHOW Youth and adult exhibitors will compete against each other in an extremely competitive market swine show. There will be a variety of breeds participating. Winners from each breed compete for the title of Overall Grand Champion.

SHEEP OPEN CLASS SHEEP SHOW
A variety of wool breeds & meat breeds will be represented at this show. Breed winners will compete against each other for the title of Supreme Champion. Friday, Aug. 30 | 8 a.m. P Sheep Barn WETHER SIRE & WETHER DAM SHEEP SHOW The Wether Sire & Wether Dam Show allows breeders of market lambs to showcase their ewes and rams. Exhibitors from all over the country will be participating. They are competing for Supreme titles.
