Beauty and the Beast
Messenger:
Hi again! Back with another message. It’s from the beast. He just wants to double check that you are perfectly clear that unless one of your three girls goes back to his palace and gives up her life, then you will be killed. What?! And it’s all because your Dad picked one of the Beast’s roses. I’m afraid it’s true. I picked a rose for Belle from the Beast’s garden and now I have to pay the consequence: death at the hands of the Beast. And there wasn’t even a sign that said, “don’t touch my roses.” And if you don’t go back to the Beast’s palace, sir, one of your daughters has to die. My vote is for Charlotte to surrender her life for the greater good! Absolutely not! Why should I have to die for Belle’s mistake? It was Belle who wanted the stupid rose. “Just a simple rose, for me, Father.” You should have known it would get Dad killed!
