The Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Beast:

I wish I was smart enough to give you a compliment. Instead, I’ll just say that I like you. I like you, Belle, a whole lot. I like you, too, Beast. Belle, will you be my wife? No thanks. Is it because I have threatened your life and the life of your father? I’m not going to lie. That doesn’t help. Because I could put off your execution indefinitely. Would that help? Would you marry me then? Even if you grant me my life, I will not marry you. I do not love you. Immediately, the poor monster began to sigh, and hissed so frightfully, that the whole palace echoed. (sadly) Then, farewell Belle. The beast left the room; and only turned back, now and then, to look at her as he went out.
