The Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Belle:

Alas, ‘tis a thousand pities anything so good-natured should be so ugly. Belle spent three months in the palace. Every evening the beast paid her a visit, and talked to her during supper, very rationally, with plain good common sense, but never with what the world calls “wit” and Belle daily discovered some valuable qualities in the beast. After a while, I barely noticed his ugliness at all. In fact, I would often look forward to our time together. And I miss him when he is not here. Odd, isn’t it? OMG! Belle is falling in love with the beast! I thought he was going to kill her. What happened to that plan? There is just one thing that bothers me. Every night before I go to bed, the beast asks me to marry him. Every single night ! Finally, Belle worked up the courage to say to the beast.
