Beauty and the Beast
Belle:
Beast, I wish I could agree to marry you, but that will never happen. Never? Never ever? Never ever ever ever? I shall always esteem you as a friend . Can you be satisfied with this? What choice do I have? I know what I look like. I’ve seen my reflection in the mirror. I guess I should just thank my lucky stars that you stay here in this palace, that you keep me company. So you’ll stop asking me to marry you? On one condition. What is that? That you promise never to leave me. Belle blushed at these words; for she had seen in her mirror that her father grieved for the loss of her and she longed to see him again. I could promise that, but I miss my father, and I simply must go visit him. If I do not, I shall die from sadness.
